California-based GMS® will strengthen Valco Melton’s prominence in the print finishing and folding carton industries, and broaden the market for GMS gluing products.
Valco Melton, a leading supplier of adhesive dispensing equipment and quality assurance systems to the converting industries, has acquired the assets of California-based Gluing Machinery & Systems Inc. (GMS®). Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The move was made as part of Valco Melton’s strategy to expand its scope of offerings to customers in the print finishing and folding carton industries.
GMS, manufacturer of microglue®, has been servicing the needs of the graphic arts industries since 1977. Located in Petaluma, California, the company specializes in high-performance, hot and cold glue application systems, specifically designed for the unique application requirements within the direct mail, paper and board converting, and print finishing markets.
